Almost anything you'd like! With full root access, KVM access and the ability to stop, reboot and reinstall at any time, a cloud machine is just like having your own personal server on the internet. Our cloud machines run everything from website hosting to email, ruby applications, DNS servers, VOIP Phone Systems - pretty much anything you can run on a standard x86 server.
There are no limits. No limits per domain, email address, database or anything else. Simply allocate enough resources to your machine and off you go! If you need more resources, add them as you go. It's features like these that make cloud machines the perfect upgrade for old fashioned, legacy shared hosting reseller plans!
Yes - and for free too! Every cloud machine includes 5 backup slots than can be used to take a complete image of your machine. You can backup manually at any point (ideal for rollbacks when deploying something new) or leave it to the system to take automated backups on a schedule you determine! At any time you require, you can revert to any of these saved images.
Our cloud machines are designed to be extremely simple to deploy and get up and running. With our easy to use control panels you can manage your server, perform reboots, backups and even reinstalls on demand. However, our basic server is not managed by default, so you will need to understand what you are doing. If you are new to server administration, we recommend a control panel like Virtualmin, cPanel or Plesk to help you easily mange your new server.
Simply reboot the machine, or if you have lost data, revert to one of your recent backups!
Absolutely, and at any time - you have the control!
Absolutely, every cloud machine includes 1 IP Address - you can add more via your control panel for a small monthly administrative fee.
All billing is done on a monthly basis. This keeps your bills simple and predictable. If you upgrade during the month, you will be billed pro-rate for the time to your next billing cycle, with full credit given for any prepayments. Equally if you downgrade.
Both depend somewhat on the amount of data in your cloud machine. Upgrades typically take less than 5 minutes. Downgrades are very dependent on the amount of data in your machine, and can take more than 30 minutes.
With our world-class control panels and automation systems, and easy to use tools, we have invested heavily in allowing our customers to manage their cloud experience easily and with minimal support overhead. This keeps our costs down and the prices you pay low!
